The story on the Alzheimer's project...

Jack Cooper (with Cooper Studios) was driving home one day while listening to original songs he had received from Nashville when he suddenly pulled the car over for a moment as the song he was listening to brought tears to his eyes. The song was called "Where is the Good in Goodbye" and it spoke to him of the trials and tribulations he had endured for the past 10 years. Jack's wife, Josephine Cooper, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the tender age of 56. She is now in the later stages and it has been a devastating experience for the family. Hearing this song gave Jack perspective on his experiences as well as an idea to share the song with others who may be going through the same thing. The idea of a three song cd arose and Jack chose three of his talented singers to represent him and Jo on this project. Kasha was to sing "Where is the Good in Goodbye", Christi Moore wrote her own orignal song titled "Tomorrow", and Shawna Lynne also received a song from Nashville titled "Dancing Queen". After months of hard work and collaborating with the Alzheimer's Society we are proud to announce that the Alzheimer's cds are available! Appropriately titled "Melodies for Memories" this cd is a great way to touch someone you care about, and proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Society to support research and development. Thank-you for supporting us with our cd, together we can put a stop to this devastating disease! To hear samples of all three songs go to www.melodiesformemories.com
